Eminem & Jay-Z

Last night, Eminem and Jay-Z made history in Detroit at Comerica Park. As if the thought of Eminem and Jay-Z alone wasn’t epic enough, the night was filled with guest appearances and performances from: Dr.Dre, 50 Cent, Drake, Young Jeezy, Trick Trick, Memphis Bleek, D12, and more. And B.o.B. opened the show.

And the guestlist of people in attendance was even better. Everyone from Xzibit to Elliot Wilson of RapRadar.com. Even porn stars Mya G and Stacie Lane were in attendance!

Shout out to my homie Pat Deegan for locating this amateur-shot, YouTube footage of the show!

B.o.B. performs “Nothing On You.”

Marco Polo

The good folks over at my favorite independent Hip Hop label, Duck Down, have announced the release date and track listing of Marco Polo‘s next album, The Stupendous Adventures of Marco Polo, on June 29th. Upon resuscitation after seeing the track listing, I figured I’d let you guys know. You know, that’s assuming you didn’t know already.

Marco Polo on the new album, and how the name came about:

The Stupendous Adventures of Marco Polo was a title Shylow came up with as a joke but I loved it and instantly wanted to rock it as the title for this project. It’s [shit] loads of fun to say and my pops use to say “Stupendous” all the time growing up so I thought it fit perfectly. My pops says a lot of crazy [shit]!

This album was an opportunity for me to introduce people that my fans may have never heard of before — guys like Shylow, Red Clay and Saga. I want people to know that when they see my name attached to something, they’re getting quality and consistency. This album is for the hardcore MP fans out there that just wanna have something to rock while I’m working on Port Authority 2. I’m locking myself in the lab on some caveman status for that one.

Make sure you check for The Stupendous Adventures of Marco Polo on June 29th!

Tracklisting:
D-Stroy & Bad Seed – Buggin Out
Large Professor – The Radar Remix
Promise – The Bridge
Red Clay – Official
Ruste Juxx – Bomb Shit
Shylow – Whylin Out
Saga – Think of You Now
Torae – Combat Drills
DJ K.O. – Best To Do It ft Royce Da 5’9”, Elzhi & Supastition (Marco Polo Remix)
Skyzoo – Block Shit
Diamond District – Who I Be (Marco Polo Remix)
Skoob of Das Efx – How I Get Down (Marco Polo Remix)
Surreal – So Basic
Grand Daddy I.U. – The Veteran
Arcee – Ambition
Exile – Radio ft Ruste Juxx & Torae (Marco Polo Remix)
