JYoung The General & Nick Speed – Black History Year: Installment One
For Jahshua “JYoung” Smith, and most African Americans, having our entire race’s history relegated to one month is despicable. Well, JYoung’s actually doing something about that.
Co-leader of the Lansing/Detroit, Michigan coalition, BLAT! Pack, JYoung’s stepping to the plate with Installment One of his two-part EP that pays homage to the history of African Americans. In the words of JYoung:
I’ve been studying black history since I was a teenager, and I know firsthand that there’s more than enough information for just 28 days. With Black History Year, I want to educate and entertain for twelve months – and hopefully, even more than that
Black History Year: Installment One, is executive produced by G-Unit Records and platinum-certified producer Nick Speed, and sponsored by the Dangerous Negro clothing line.
